We believe raising godly children is the
job of godly parents and rejoice in the privilege of serving parents in
their task. We believe children are uniquely close to the heart of God,
so ministry to children is a high and lofty service that shapes years
of a church’s future and the lives of individual children. During the service we provide early childhood care for kids up to five. For elementary ages Sunday school classes meet after the family worship time. On the first Sunday of the month, all elementary age
(Kindergarten – 5th grade) meet together for "Children’s Church" where
we have some expanded types of ministry.
Childrens Ministry At Southgate Church

Nothing is more important to the future of the Church than the spiritual health and growth of our children.
We believe that parents have the ultimate responsibility to teach and train their children, and we are dedicated to assisting parents with that responsibility. Specifically, we desire to provide the children of Southgate Church with an opportunity to learn the Word of God, experience the Holy Spirit, and know the Love of God.
To that end, we have childcare every Sunday for children between the stages of infancy and Fifth grade. This ministry time for infants through Pre-Kindergarten lasts the entire length of our Sunday morning service, and is designed to provide the children with a fun and safe environment to learn the Word of God in some measure. Our Sunday school ministry for grades Kindergarten - Fifth grade begins immediately after the worship portion of our service. During that time, we seek to have kids experience God in a very real and practical way.
Kids, we invite you to visit us on any Sunday morning and learn more about the wonderful God we serve.
